What is the Minimus Lite Cap?
The Minimus Lite is a lightweight, waterproof cap designed for fast-paced mountain activities such as trail running, fast packing and ultra running. Yet, it's versatile enough for more casual pursuits, like walking the dog or taking a jog before work.
What is it made of?
The outer material is 20D Pertex® Shield, a lightweight, waterproof fabric that offers fantastic breathability to keep you comfortable when it's both wet and humid. Pertex® Shield is exceptionally durable and can endure regular use without starting to look shabby quickly.
The cap also has an internal headband made with CoolMax® material, constructed with polyester fibres. CoolMax® is designed with cooling technology to help you beat the heat. It effectively wicks away moisture to help you stay fresh and prevent sweat build-up in the fabric, which usually feels damp and cold on the skin - a common problem with traditional cotton materials.
What are its features?
The seam-taped construction ensures complete waterproof protection, as the taping prevents water ingress. This taping doesn't add any excess weight or bulk to the hat, meaning it still feels light and airy to wear - perfect for a humid summer's day!
The rear hook and loop adjustment allows you to fit the hat accurately and quickly adjust without even taking it off.
It has a stiffened, pre-curved peak that shields your face from the elements, whether rain or sun. The peak is perforated to save weight, making it highly packable and easy to slip into a running vest or pocket.
The Minimus Lite is finished with reflective detailing that improves visibility in poor conditions or after sundown.
